This year Mario Grifoni’s place “Corridor and Stairs” hosted an interesting part of the Milan Fashion Week dedicated to food. This place was inaugurated last February with a special event called incrEDIBLE zine, where the buffet offered 3D printed food. This year’s exhibit, An Ode to Paper, was set up inside the gallery next to the store in Santo Spirito Av., thanks to a collaboration with Essen | A Taste Magazine. Food, publishing and fashion industries all together: a selection of fashion shoots of food made by the photographers of the magazine which presented a new, contemporary idea of style. And, as the name of the event suggests, celebrated the survival of paper in the digital era.

This was not the first time Fusina worked for Mauro Grifoni at Corridor and Stairs. For this exhibition we followed the idea of our commissioner: we used poor materials like cardboard and we gave them nobility thanks to particular cutting and assembling techniques. Combined with live music and the beautiful canapés… it was a great success.
